Last Christmas...

This is the time of year when one tends to look back. For me, 2007 has had its ups and downs; periods when I could not write at all; sleepless nights that stretched into lonely mornings. But it has also been a year of miracles: too many to mention but, one very special one has been the response to this blog. The stats have blown me away. People have logged on (and more than once!) from Ghana, China, India, Honolulu, Mauritius, Trinidad, Canada, Australia, Kenya, the United Arab Emirates and from all over the US and the UK. I have been particularly surprised at the response to my Ghana interviews: David (the architect) has had two business queries; and Vivian and Emmanuel's stories touched people in ways I could never have imagined.
So I'd like to say a huge 'Happy Holidays' to everyone who has ever logged on or commented on my blog. There were times when this blog was my only creative (and sometimes emotional) outlet so, thank you. '08 is going to be way better for writing and blogging. Believe.

I'll be tuning in over the coming year for certain.
